An image of the Senior Advisor to the President of the United States of America (USA) and businessman Elon Musk allegedly with his daughter is being shared on social media platforms.

• Those sharing have claimed that it shows Musk's daughter, who is five years old, battling cancer.

Is the claim true?: No, the claim is false as this image is generated using artificial intelligence (AI) tools.

What we found: We ran a relevant keyword search to find whether Musk's daughter was battling cancer but found no credible reports to prove the claim.

• We then noticed 'Grok AI' in the bottom right corner of the image, indicating that it was generated using AI.

• We, then, ran the image on AI-detection platforms such as Hive Moderation and Sightengine which revealed that the image was generated using AI.

• Hive Moderation noted that the image was 96 per cent and Sightengine noted that the image was 99 per cent "likely AI."
