The BJP government in Uttar Pradesh, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, completed six months on Tuesday. Outlining his government’s achievements, Adityanath on Monday released a white paper, which laid accusations on the previous Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party government.
Addressing a press conference Yogi Adityanath talked about the “changes” that his government brought about.
He said that since March 2017, “there hasn’t been a single incident of riot”.
He also listed the developments in the farming sector, employment, electricity, etc.
Yogi Adityanath said that his government is responsible for bringing upgraded technology to farmers to increase their output because “as our dearest Modiji worries saying that farmer can only be uplifted if their output can be doubled.”
Yogi also emphasized on the benefit of farmers through agricultural universities and said,“we have provided land for 20 agricultural science centers.”
The UP CM also spoke about Anti Land Mafia Team that has been formed to remove forceful occupations of government land. He also said that his government has given vocational training to 47,000 unemployed youth.
Come October, his government will start fixing potholes, Adityanath said.
The state is working fast on health, he said, adding that 5,298 people from poor families who have been suffering from serious illness have been provided with money from the Chief Minister's fund.
