Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan Discharged From Hospital

The Union Minister for Food and Consumer Affairs had complained of breathlessness.

Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party president Ram Vilas Paswan, who was admitted to the ICU of a hospital in Patna late on Thursday evening after he complained of breathlessness, was discharged on Saturday morning.

Paswan, Union Minister for Food and Consumer Affairs, was in Patna on a four-day tour of the state, during which he had some political engagements as well as a Makar Sankranti function in Patna on 15 January.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday met doctors attending to the minister to inquire about his health.

RJD chief Lalu Prasad, accompanied by his sons Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav, who is Health Minister of Bihar, also met the ailing Minister at the hospital.
