Gold Medallist Boxer Kamal Kumar Collects Garbage For A Living

A national level gold medallist boxer now collects garbage door-to-door to provide for his family in Kanpur.

Kamal Kumar, a former national gold medallist boxer from Kanpur, now collects garbage from door to door to make ends meet.

“I had no other option. One has to work to provide for his family,” he explains why he collects garbage.

Who could have been India’s pride, has gone completely ignored and unacknowledged.

Even after what has happened, Kamal Kumar does not complain. He carries the same passion for sports and is now training his children so that they can bring pride to the nation one day. “I hope my children will achieve what I could not,” he said.
