It’s a question that has been posed to the DMK multiple times. Will Kalaignar Karunanidhi make way for his son MK Stalin and project him as the chief ministerial candidate of the DMK?

93-year-old Karunanidhi has been Tamil Nadu’s chief minister five times and speculation about when he would hand over the reins to his 63-year-old son MK Stalin has been on for years.
