Donald Trump’s adviser and Chicago based Indian-American businessman, Shalabh Kumar, said it was “silly not to have the travel ban”.

Trump’s travel ban prevents citizens of six Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States.

The six countries – Iran, Syria, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen and Libya – do not have “functioning governments”, Kumar said.

Kumar, who emerged as the biggest individual donor to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, however went soft on Pakistan.

We should give Pakistan a chance as they have a functioning government. Nawaz Sharif has been trying to move in the right direction. If Pakistan shows two-faced behaviour, Trump will stop it.
