Rekha Backs Hema Malini With Rs 47 Lakh For Girls’ Education

Bollywood actress and Rajya Sabha MP Rekha has decided to back Hema Malini on her ‘Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao Andolan’ in Mathura by offering a donation of Rs 47 lakh. The money is intended to help two girls’ colleges in Mathura, also the Lok Sabha constituency of Hema Malini.

The two colleges are KR Degree College and Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls’ School.

Hema Malini had been promoting ‘Beti Padhao Beti Bachao’ campaign and also worked effortlessly for the same and to help her co-star and friend Rekha has given funds Rs 47 lakh for two girls’ institutions in Mathura... Around 35 lakh would be given to KR Degree College for construction of various facilities and the remaining amount will be given to Kasturba Gandhi School.
