Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, 17 February, paid tributes to CRPF jawans Sanjay Kumar Sinha from Patna and Ratan Kumar Thakur from Bhagalpur, both of whom were killed in the Pulwama terror attack on 14 February.

“I express my sympathies with their families,” he said, adding:

“Main anubhav kar raha hun aapke aur desh vaasiyon ke dil mein kitni aag hai. Jo aag aapke dil mein vahi aag mere dil mein bhi hai. (I can feel how angry you and other people of the country are. The same anger is there within me too.)”
