The contentious Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2023 is scheduled to be debated in the Lok Sabha for passing on Wednesday, 2 August.
If passed in both Houses, the Bill will give the Centre greater control over services and the posting of officers in Delhi.
INDIA MPs who recently visited Manipur and the grouping's floor leaders, including Mallikarjun Kharge and Sonia Gandhi, will meet President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday.
"Today we will meet madam President (Droupadi Murmu) at 11.30 AM and will bring to the notice of the President the situation in Manipur and our experiences from the visit to the state," Kharge told ANI.
When asked whether the BRS is with the Opposition INDIA grouping or against it, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao told ANI: "We are neither with anyone nor do we want to be with anyone. We aren't alone & we also have friends as well. What is new INDIA? They were in power for 50 years, there was no change."

INDIA MPs submitted a memorandum to President Droupadi Murmu, urging her to intervene in the Manipur issue.
"We urgently request your kind intervention to establish peace and harmony in the state without any further delay. Both the Union and state govt must fulfil their duty to provide justice to the affected communities. We implore you to press upon the PM to urgently address the Parliament on the prevailing situation in Manipur, followed by a detailed and comprehensive discussion on the matter," the memorandum stated, as per ANI.
Chairperson Jagdeep Dhankhar adjourned the Rajya Sabha till 2:00 PM.
Union Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw said in the Rajya Sabha that the Indian Railways is taking all measures to ensure the safety and security of passengers, and has also installed CCTV cameras at 866 railway stations across the country.
Vaishnaw also informed the House that special arrangements, including the deployment of Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel, are in place at railway stations near border areas.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla expressed "deep displeasure" with both the Centre and the Opposition over the deadlock in the House, news agency ANI reported.
Birla told representatives of both sides that he will not preside over the Lok Sabha until there is order.
Responding to the Opposition's demands, Rajya Sabha chairperson Jagdeep Dhankhar said that he could not and would not direct Prime Minister Narendra Modi to come to the House.
He said that it was the prerogative of each MP to decide whether they wanted to come to the House.
The BJP issued a three-line whip to its Lok Sabha MPs to be present in the House throughout the day on Thursday, 3 August and support the Bills sponsored by the Centre for passing.
The Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2023 was passed in the Rajya Sabha.
The Bill had cleared the Lok Sabha on 28 July.
The Forest Conservation (Amendment) Bill, 2023 was passed in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday.
The Bill, which seeks to amend the Forest (Conservation) Act, was passed in the Lok Sabha last week.
The Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the day on Wednesday after passing the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Bill, 2023.
