Manoj Tiwari, who heads the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Delhi unit, emerged as one of the key men behind the party’s hat-trick in the capital’s municipal polls on Wednesday. In a conversation with The Quint, Tiwari spoke about the BJP’s latest poll landslide and the party’s plan of action.

The BJP bagged 184 of the 270 seats on offer, handing humiliating defeats to the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP and the Congress.

Tiwari, who took over the reins of the city unit in November last year, stressed that voters have rejected Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal's “negativity” and attributed BJP's "historic" win to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policies.
