Kashmir is an integral part of India and no power in the world can take it away from India, BJP Chief, Amit Shah asserted in BJP National Council in Calicut, on Sunday.

The BJP national meet marked the celebration of the birth centenary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, on Sunday.

Born on 25 September, 1916 in Mathura, Pundit Deendayal Upadhyaya was the party ideologue of the Bhartiya Jana Sangh, the forerunner of the BJP.

Condemning the attack on soldiers in Uri, Shah said that BJP and the Central government have maintained a zero tolerance towards terrorism right from the start and will give Pakistan a fitting response.

Coming down heavily on Pakistan, he said that the country has openly been providing its soil as a haven for terrorist activities.

Referring to Nawaz Sharif’s UNGA speech, Shah said:

Pakistan openly promotes terrorism. They are even calling Hizbul Mujahideen a peaceful group. This is a long fight forced on us by our neighbours. We have been successful in unmasking Pakistan to the world. The final win will be ours. The BJP government is adequate to fight against terrorism.
