In less than three days, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley addressed the media twice on the Narendra Modi government’s move to ban the use of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes.

But there are still several unanswered and unresolved questions on the minds of many.

National Herald, the newspaper founded by India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, posed some of these questions to the Finance Minister in an online article titled, “Mr Jaitley, A Few Questions For You”.

The media house is co-owned by the Congress and launched a beta version of its website on Nehru’s birth anniversary on 14 November.
