In a shocking statement Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav said that the Badaun rape case was false, as proved by CBI investigations and that many rape cases are falsely shown as gang rapes by accusing family members of the accused.

He also said it is “impractical” for 4 men to rape 1 woman.

Mulayam had sparked outrage in April last year when he made the infamous “boys will be boys, they make mistakes” comment pertaining to death sentence given to 3 men in a gang-rape case in Mumbai.
