Rally, Roadshow And Nomination Filing: Amit Shah’s Gujarat Agenda

BJP President Amti Shah is all set to file his nomination papers for the Lok Sabha elections from Gujarat’s Gandhinagar constituency on Saturday, 30 March.

Shah, who is currently a Member of the Parliament in the Rajya Sabha will be contesting the Lok Sabha elections for the first time.

He is expected to file his nominations at around 12.30 pm in the presence of Union ministers Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari, in addition to BJP allies like Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, SAD chief Parkash Singh Badal and LJP’s Ram Vilas Paswan.

The leaders are also expected to take part in a roadshow in Gandhinagar prior to the filing of nomination papers. According to news agency ANI, Shah will also address an election rally in Naranpura area of Ahmedabad ahead of the roadshow. The roadshow, meanwhile, will start at the DRH Regency hotel, and end at the Patidar chowk area, reported ANI.

Shah will be contesting from Gandhinagar in place of party veteran LK Advani, who has held the seat since 1998.
