Actor Prakash Raj, known for his speeches against the BJP, has now taken a dig at the saffron party leaders, especially the party's Karnataka President BS Yeddyurappa.

Speaking to the media in Udupi, Prakash Raj said that "Siddaramaiah is better that Yeddyurappa."

"Siddaramaiah is better than Yeddyurappa. He has done good work in the past two years," he said.

The actor also said that “Yeddyurappa would not last as a chief minister even for three months if the BJP comes to power”.

When Modi, Amit Shah and Yogi Adityanath come to Karnataka, Yeddyurappa remains silent. BS Yeddyurappa has no self-respect. If he becomes the CM, he will not last for three months.

The actor also likened the BJP to a “dangerous disease” and that India would “become another Pakistan if BJP continues to rule”.

He also warned the people of Udupi to be aware of the BJP’s strategy and said that the party “would try to instigate clashes ahead of the elections”.

“Amit Shah has come up with a strategy. Be careful, there may be clashes ahead of the elections,” Prakash Raj added.

Stating that he does not lean to the left or right, Prakash Raj added that he is not against any religion.

I do not lean left or right. I am not against Hinduism or any other religion. The perception that I am against Hinduism is wrong. Religion is like a lamp, which should shed light. Religion must not drive governments. It goes against the idea of a democracy.
