Yakub Memon Hanged on His 53rd Birthday

After the Supreme Court rejected Yakub Memon’s mercy plea at 5am, he was hanged in Nagpur Central Jail at 7am, today.

Yakub Memon was hanged at 7 am in Nagpur Central Prison on his 53rd birthday according to the TADA court’s order.

Increased security measures have been put in place in both Mumbai and Nagpur.
