Who Really Won the 1965 India-Pakistan War?

As India marks the Golden Jubilee of its victory against Pakistan in the 1965 War, Pak textbooks say something else

India will mark the Golden Jubillee of its victory against Pakistan in the 1965 War on July 4. Both countries believe they won the 17-day war that caused and are taught as much in their school text books.

A Pakistani text book says India “begged” for mercy and “ran to the United Nations” for help, according to Dawn.

The Indian school textbook, obviously, has a different version.
