UGC to Release Mobile App to Register Ragging Related Complaints

• To combat the menace of ragging, the University Grants Commission (UGC) is planning to launch a mobile app which will help students register complaints in case they face any problems.
  
  
• The higher education regulator in a recent meeting has also formed a three member committee which will look into the various aspects related to making of campuses of Central Universities WiFi enabled.
  
  
• The HRD ministry plans to install Wifi hubs in all Central Universities. The committee could also co-opt members from the IT sector for effective implementation of the project.
