After the beef ban, comes the meat ban in Mumbai. This time to protect the religious sentiments of the Jain community during their festival of fasting. The demand for the ban was put forward by several Jain organisations, and was supported by the BJP. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has imposed a four-day prohibition on the sale of meat in Mumbai. People took to Twitter to express their anger against this unfair ban.
