TIME magazine has always stood its ground when it comes to US President Donald Trump. The magazine’s recent cover, published on 18 May, pokes fun at the Trump government’s alleged links with Russia.

“No one can dispute Trump's singular, at times disproportionate, obsession with anything concerning the investigation into Russia's involvement in the 2016 election,” the TIME report reads.

The cover, reported to be the work of Brobel Design, does not bear any words.

The cover comes on the heels of reports that Trump allegedly disclosed highly classified information to Russia's foreign minister.

After the cover began to make the rounds, MAD magazine tweeted, accusing TIME of ripping the idea off a MAD magazine cover from December 2016. Take a look:
