Swami Aseemanand Granted Bail in Samjhauta Express Blast Case

Swami Aseemanand, the main accused in the 2007 Samjhauta Express blast case, was on Friday granted bail by a special NIA court.
The bail was granted on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh and two surety bonds of Rs 1 lakh each by a court in Haryana's Panchkula district.
Multiple blasts occurred in the Samjhauta Express near Dewana station in Panipat on the intervening night of February 18 and 19, 2007. It killed 68 people.
