A photo of a street artist has been making the rounds since Prime Minister landed in Israel for his three-day visit.

Here’s the image:

Don’t fall for it because it’s fake!

The image is a photoshopped version of a photo from 2005. The actual image was taken at the Centre of Pompidou in Paris. And the street artist was captured reproducing Vermeer's Het Meisje Met de Parel.

After the image was posted on the Mission Modi Facebook page, several social media users stepped up to point out that the image was fake. A number of users also tried to redirect people to the original image.
