Should the Likes of SRK, Saif Ali Khan Endorse Harmful Products?

When Shah Rukh Khan or any other actor says, ‘Muh mein Rajnigandha, kadmo mein duniya’, fans believe him.

Such is the power of being a Bollywood star and as we know – with great power, comes great responsibility.

In a recent initiative to make Delhi tobacco-free, Delhi Govt has observed a dry day for tobacco on the last day of every month. They have also written to actors like SRK, Saif, Ajay Devgan to stop endorsing pan masala.

The debate over whether Bollywood actors should endorse harmful products like Pan Masala or liquor brands through surrogate advertising is an old one.

So, wil this request from the Delhi Govt make a difference?
