After the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani, the violence in Kashmir has claimed 42 lives, including a police officer.

Kashmiri Hindu families residing in Jammu and Kashmir, who took to the streets against the violence, believe that it is not terrorism but religious violence is gaining ground in Kashmir.

The Quint spoke to some Kashmiri Hindu families residing in New Delhi and Bengaluru, trying to know their opinion about the ongoing violence. This is what they had to say.
