The United Arab Emirates on Thursday, 4 April, honoured Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the Zayed Medal. It is reportedly the UAE’s highest civil honour awarded to kings, presidents and heads of states.
Modi has been given the award, in appreciation of his efforts to boost relations between the Emirates and India.
UAE Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan took to Twitter to make the announcement.
PM Modi has visited UAE twice in the last two years, with his last visit in February 2019.
