The Simhasth Kumbh Mela at Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh came into news on Saturday for a special reason. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s wife Jashodaben Modi took the holy bath at the Kumbh Mela, and paid a visit to the Mahakaleshwar temple.

While visiting the temple, Jashodaben was no different from the other devotees. She waited in queue, like any other follower. She was accompanied by a few members of her family as well.

Jashodaben visited the temple around 1 pm and took darshan of Lord Shiva. Yesterday, she visited the Saibaba temple at Shirdi in Ahmednagar district, as well as Trimbakeshwar in Nashik district, in Maharashtra.
