Potential rapist and convicted murderer Sajjad Pathan jumped parole and has been on the run for the last five months. He was last seen in his village of Salamabad in Kashmir’s Uri district on 17 June.

His victim’s father, Atanu Purkayastha, spoke to The Quint on how four years after his daughter’s brutal murder, Sajjad Pathan continues to make a mockery of justice.
