BSF Foils Infiltration Bid in Amritsar, Two Pak Intruders Killed

The Border Security Force shot dead two Pakistani intruders along the Indo-Pak border on 20 September when they refused to surrender while crossing over to the Indian side.

Deputy Inspector General of the BSF, JS Oberio, said the force shot dead two Pakistani intruders when they ignored warnings and kept marching towards BSF troops aggressively.

The incident took place along the Indo-Pak border in Ajnala sector of Amritsar at the Shahpur Border Out Post where BSF troops spotted two Pakistani nationals who crossed over to India and refused to surrender.

The force said it has recovered an AK-47 assault rifle, a pistol, over two dozen bullet rounds, four kilograms of heroin, a Pakistani mobile phone with a SIM, and Rs 20,000 Pakistani currency.
