Pak Violates Ceasefire Twice Along LoC, Indian Army Responds

The Pakistani Army launched an indiscriminate firing across the Line of Control in the Bimber Gali sector of Jammu and Kashmir, early on Wednesday morning. The firing lasted 45 minutes, and involved small arms, automatics and 82 mm mortars.

The Indian Army have responded strongly and effectively to the firing, reported ANI.

In a separate incident, Pakistan yet again violated ceasefire along the LoC in Naushera sector a few hours later. The Indian army retaliated with firing across the border, reported ANI.

We have put all our camps on high alert in view of these attacks (in J&K yesterday).

The LoC in Kashmir has been subject to several attacks in the last few days, the most recent on Tuesday when terrorists lobbed grenades at a camp of CRPF's 180 Battalion, in Tral sector. Ten CRPF personnel were injured in the attack, and three personnel were said to be in critical condition.
