On Thursday, 17 October, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi performed a dance step while he was campaigning at a rally in Aurangabad in Maharashtra, ANI reported.

While on the stairs after addressing a rally at Paithan Gate in Aurangabad, he was seen performing a step that looked like the act of flying a kite, apparently making a reference to his party’s symbol.

According to ANI, he was later seen performing similar steps on stage while he was campaigning in Aurangabad on Friday.

While addressing the rally, he said, "I believe that the Prime Minister raises controversial issues during the elections so that he can give a message to RSS and right-wing people. In English, it is called dog-whistle politics.”

He further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is claiming that 1993 bomb blast victims “did not get justice.”

“Prime Minister is wrong in saying this, all accused have been punished and Yakub was even hanged to death. But I want to ask him whether he will do justice on the advice of Justice Shri Krishna Commission report. He does not speak on it,” Owaisi added, ANI reported.
