Corrigendum: An earlier version of the story incorrectly stated that a former Pakistani diplomat had admitted that India killed 300 terrorists during the Balakot airstrike. This was based on inputs from news agency ANI. However, the diplomat's statement was misinterpreted, and so this article has now been deleted. The error is regretted.
