NGT Slams Delhi Govt for Inaction On Alarming Air Pollution Levels

  • As the tribunal asks Central Pollution Control Board & Delhi Pollution Control Committee to take steps, the Delhi government tells NGT that the high air pollution is due to crop burning in Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan.
  • NGT has asked the Delhi government to stop 10-year-old diesel vehicles from plying on roads in the national capital. The next date for hearing on the matter is 8 November.
