Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday, 13 February, appointed Neeraj Kundan as new president of the National Student Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of the party.

Kundan is currently the National Secretary of NSUI and was earlier the Jammu and Kashmir state president of NSUI.

On 7 February, Kundan was appointed as a member of the campaign committee for the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

"Thanks to sh.@RahulGandhi G and sh.@GAMIR_INC G for appointing me as member for campaign committe in upcoming lokhsabha elections !! (sic)," he tweeted.
