Kashmir’s LeT Head Killed Along With 2 Others in Kulgam Encounter

Pakistani militant Furqan, who had taken over as LeT's Kashmir head after Abu Ismail's death in an encounter earlier this year, was killed along with another Pakistani militant Abu Muaviya in an encounter on in Jammu & Kashmir’s Kulgam aread, J&K Police said.

One security personnel was also killed in the encounter, and another injured after the militants attacked an army convoy in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam area.

The encounter occurred in Qazigund close to the Jammu National Highway leaving many passengers and tourists stranded.

One security personnel was also left injured.

A few hours away from Kulgam, militants hurled a grenade at the CRPF camp of 182 battalion in Pulwama's Tahab area on Monday.
