2 Jawans Injured As Militants Attack Army Convoy in J&K’s Shopian

The area has been cordoned off and and a search operation is on, said an army official.

Militants fired upon an Army patrol party in south Kashmir’s Mantribugh, Shopian district on Thursday.

Two army jawans were injured during the firing, reported Times of India.

“An army patrol party was fired upon by militants at Mantribugh in Shopian. However, there was no casualty,” the Army official said.

The area has been cordoned off and a search operation is on, he added.
