Man Shot Dead in J&K’s Pantha Chowk, Manhunt on to Nab Culprits

A 32-year-old man was shot dead by unknown persons in Pantha Chowk in Srinagar on Monday, 3 June.

According to Greater Kashmir, unknown persons opened fire at Sameer Ahmad Wani, son of Mohad Yosuf Wani of Khanmoh.

Wani, who suffered a bullet injury in his upper side of chest, was rushed to SHMS hospital where he was declared brought dead by doctors.

Confirming the incident, police said that an investigation have been launched.

After the incident was reported, a joint team of army and SOG has launched a hunt to catch the culprits.
