Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sunil Arora finally announced the dates for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections on 10 March, 2019.

The 2019 Lok Sabha Elections with 90 crore eligible voters will be conducted in 7 phases, starting form 7th April. The results of the elections will be declared on 23rd May.

The Lok Sabha Elections 2019 will be the first test of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity against a United Opposition. The tenure of the Modi led-NDA government will end on 26 May 2019.
