At least two people have been killed and 24 others injured in an explosion at a factory in China's Northeast Jilin province, the local government said on Saturday, 24 November.
About 41 buildings were also damaged in the explosion. The explosion also caused a large fire, another daily Global Times said.

Five Bangladeshi nationals of a gang were arrested on Friday night following an encounter with Delhi Police Crime Branch in Taimoor Nagar area.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Crime Branch, Ram Gopal Naik confirmed that two were injured in the encounter.
According to Naik, the gang was involved in incidents of loot in different parts of the country.

A 24-year-old was killed and his cousin injured after their motorcycle skidded off the Signature Bridge on Saturday, a day after two medical students were killed in an accident there, police said.
The deceased, identified as Shankar, was riding motorcycle and his cousin Deepak (17) was pillion rider, a senior police officer said.

A civilian, injured in a firing incident near a security forces camp in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, succumbed to injuries on Saturday, officials said.
Ishfaq Ahmad Ganaie was injured in the firing near the camp of Army's 50 Rashtriya Rifles unit at Chattergam area of Budgam in central Kashmir on Friday, a police official said. He said Ganaie succumbed at the SMHS hospital on Saturday morning.

A US soldier was killed in Afghanistan on Saturday, 24 November, NATO said, taking the number of American service personnel to die in the war-torn country this year to nine.
NATO's Resolute Support mission would not immediately release any details about the soldier — the second US service member to be killed in Afghanistan this month — or the circumstances of their death.

Two children were killed and 22 others injured after their tractor-trolley overturned in Nawabganj area here, police said on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Guddan (10) and Rajrani (8), Superintendent of Police (SP) Gaurav Grover said. They were returning after taking holy dip in the Rapti river on the occasion of Kartik Purnima on Friday night, he said.
