At least one person was killed and four others have been injured in a Wednesday afternoon shooting outside of a judge's office in Pennsylvania, a Fayette County official said.

A 40-year-old man was arrested on Thursday in Thane for allegedly raping his teenaged daughter, PTI reported.
The accused and his wife separated seven years back. Since then, the 14-year-old girl was living with her father in the Kasarvadavli area of Thane city.
The girl alleged that she was raped repeatedly by her father in the last four years.

A woman suffered severe burns after her husband threw acid on her following a quarrel in this western Uttar Pradesh district, PTI reported.
According to the police, accused Bablu Kumar (30), a resident of Faloda village in the Purkazi police station area, has been on the run since the incident Wednesday evening. Purkazi police station SHO Vijay Singh said a case has been registered based on a complaint filed by the woman's mother and a hunt is on for the accused.
The woman was admitted to the district hospital.

Two minor girls were allegedly raped by a man and a 17-year-old boy in Pune on Sunday and one of them died of injuries inflicted during the assault days later, PTI reported.
The two girls, both around 12 years' old and residents of the same locality, went to a temple near their home in Hinjawadi area Sunday afternoon.
The two accused, who also lived in the same locality, lured the girls by offering them chocolates. They then took the girls to an isolated area where they allegedly raped them.

A 26-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly molesting a student from Manipur while she was travelling in a local train in Mumbai, PTI reported.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday issued a cyclone alert for South Odisha and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
In an official release at 6 pm, the IMD said there is a deep depression over west central Bay of Bengal which is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm with wind speed of 60-70 kmph in next 12 hours.
The IMD said the deep depression lay centred over west central Bay of Bengal about 290 km east-southeast of Kalingapatnam (Coastal Andhra Pradesh) and about 270 km southeast of Gopalpur (Odisha).
The authorities said 3 people have been shot dead in northeast Maryland. Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey R. Gahler says there is no longer any threat at the site as the gun-person is in custody and is said to be in a critical condition.

A bus belonging to IndiGo Airlines caught fire on Thursday, 21 September, at the Chennai airport here while ferrying passengers of a domestic in-bound evening flight, according to airport officials.
No one was injured in the incident as the blaze was put out immediately by Fire and Rescue Services personnel, they said. The bus caught fire as it was nearing the arrival point with about 50 passengers on board.
The authorities are looking into the incident.
