Fire Breaks out in East London, No Casualities Reported

100 fire fighters were present at the spot after fire broke out at Samuel Garside House by Riverside Barking in East London on 9 June. London Fire Brigade confirmed that there are no casualties. The fire was doused within an hour.

Southwest monsoon, that hit Kerala after a week-long delay on Saturday, 8 June is likely to make a late arrival in Odisha as well, the IMD's regional centre said.

The monsoon is unlikely to hit Odisha in the next four -five days and no specific date has been announced about its arrival, HR Biswas, Director of the Meteorological Centre here said.

The monsoon usually makes an onset in Odisha by 10 June, he said.
