Another Accused in 26 January Violence Case Arrested

Iqbal Singh, an accused in the case over violence in Delhi on 26 January was arrested by Special Cell from Hoshiarpur, Punjab on Tuesday night. He carried a reward of Rs 50,000 on his arrest, Delhi Police said.

68.26 Lakh Vaccinated Against COVID, 2.15 Lakh Vaccinated Today: Govt

More than 68.26 lakh people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in the country so far, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday.

"Today, vaccination sessions were organised in 33 states and Union territories and 2,15,133 beneficiaries have been vaccinated till 6 pm," a ministry official said on Wednesday.

PM Modi Speaks to Justin Trudeau on COVID Vaccine Supply

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday spoke to his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau on the issue of COVID-19 vaccine supply.

"Was happy to receive a call from my friend Justin Trudeau. Assured him that India would do its best to facilitate supplies of COVID vaccines sought by Canada. We also agreed to continue collaborating on other important issues like Climate Change and the global economic recovery," PM Modi tweeted.
