A mob barged into the annual day function of a private school on Monday, 15 January and disrupted a student's dance performance on the ‘Ghoomar’ song from the film ‘Padmaavat’, police said.
A child and a parent was injured in the incident which happened in a school in Jawra, about 42 kilometres from Ratlam, police added.
Around three-four hours after the 'ghoomar' performance by the girl, the mob went to the Saint Paul School around 1.30 pm and began indulging in arson, while shouting slogans in favour of Sri Karni Sena, Jawra police station in-charge MP Parihar said.
The activists broke chairs and music systems while shouting slogans.

Four persons were arrested for trespassing, rioting and endangering the safety of others while a manhunt has been launched for other suspects, police said.
Members of the Rajput Karni Sena members staged a protest at Noida, on Monday against the upcoming release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's controversial film ‘Padmaavat’.
Members of the Rajasthan-based outfit handed a memorandum to the district magistrate demanding a ban on the film.
The protesters also raised slogans against the producer, director and actors of the film.
Makers of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much-awaited film ‘Padmaavat’ have released a new advertisement listing all the disclaimers, clarifying controversies surrounding the film.
The producer confirmed yesterday that the film will release on 25 January.
The movie was mired in controversy after various Rajput groups staged protests against the content of the film.
Last month, during the certification process of the film, Bhansali appeared before a parliamentary panel where he said that the film is an adaptation of Sufi poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi's ‘Padmavat’.
