Kamal Haasan Visits Rajinikanth Before His Political Tour
Rajinikanth wishes Kamal Haasan as the latter visits his residence on Sunday.
"Only time will tell on both of us joining hands... I came to inform Rajini about my political tour... Rajini wished me good luck," Kamal Haasan told reporters outside the Rajinikanth’s residence in Chennai’s posh Poes Garden.
Haasan dropped in at Rajinikanth’s home on Sunday, just days after he ruled out an alliance with the Robot star’s political party if Rajini leaned more towards “a saffron hue”. Kamal Haasan also told the media that it was a “friendly meeting”
"Kamal wants to serve the people of Tamil Nadu. I pray to God that he attains success," Rajinikanth said. "He has not entered politics for fame or money but only to serve people of the state."
Both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have announced their decision to plunge into active politics in Tamil Nadu.
Haasan will start his political journey on Wednesday from Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu. He said he is embarking on an important journey of his life and before that he would like to meet the people he likes.
The 63-year-old superstar had said his colour of politics is "black" signifying Dravidian.
Rajinikanth, on the other hand, has announced that he would follow spiritual politics. He will announce his party's name on Wednesday.
