Travelling with your loved ones and a hot delicious meal being served to you on your seat! Can your journey be more satisfying than this?

Many passengers carry their home-cooked food while travelling by train. Buying food from hawkers at different platforms is not always a solution, often coming down to a matter of trust and how hygiene-conscious you are.

Though there are several services that claim to serve good quality food to passengers at their seats, there are still always complaints about the food. But maybe not any more.

IRCTC’s ‘Food on Track’ is an App promising to provide you quality service. With tie ups with more than 500 restaurants, ‘Food on Track’ delivers food from Domino’s, Yatri’s, Railrestro and other noted food restaurants and services. All you need to do do is enter your PNR number, select your choice of restaurant, place your order from the menu and delicious food will be delivered to your seat.

Ordering food on the IRCTC E-Catering Food on Track App is super-simple and convenient. Even the passengers whose tickets are on the waiting list and yet to be confirmed can book their meals. The food will only be served once the passenger’s reservation is confirmed on preparation of the chart.

Passengers will have to download the Food on Track App from the Google Play Store or App Store first.
