CBI Court Allows Indrani Mukerjea to Turn Approver in INX Case

A special CBI Court on Thursday 4 July, agreed to Indrani Mukerjea's application seeking to become an approver in the INX Media case.

The court has set 11 July as the next date of hearing in the case, news agency ANI reported.

According to the report, she will be produced by Byculla jail authorities in the court that day.

Indrani Mukerjea, the former director of INX Media and co-accused in an alleged corruption case, had in February sought to become an approver in the case.

Indrani, who is facing charges of corruption alongside Sivaganga MP Karti Chidamabram had, in February, moved the Patiala House Court to seek grant of pardon in the case.
