The former Indian President and celebrated scientist, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, collapsed suddenly while delivering a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management-Shillong on Monday.

Dr John Sailo, MD, Bethany Hospital, Shillong confirmed to The Quint over the phone that Dr Kalam was brought dead to the hospital.
