A 50-year-old man was allegedly shot dead and his 17-year-old son suffered serious injuries in a case of road rage shooting in northeast Delhi's Nand Nagari area on Monday, 29 October, police said.

3. Teacher Shot Dead in Delhi's Bawana; Accused on the Run
A 38-year-old government school teacher was gunned down by unidentified assailants in Bawana, while she was en route to school on Monday, 29 October, hours before she was to be felicitated for her batch’s academic performance.
According to police, Sunita was a primary school teacher at a Haryana government school in Sonepat’s Ferozepur – 8 km away from her home in Bawana village.

4. Lookout Circular Against Man Who ‘Molested’ French Teen in Delhi
Police have issued a lookout circular (LOC) against a man accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old French girl, who was staying with his family as part of an exchange programme.
“We have issued an LOC against the 56-year-old man, an architect and part-time businessman, and will issue a non-bailable warrant from a Delhi court on Tuesday, 30 October. We are conducting raids to nab him,” JCP (southern range) Devesh Srivastava said.

5. MBA Graduate Arrested for Cyber Stalking in Hyderabad
An MBA post graduate from Lucknow University was arrested by Rachakonda police on the stalking his former colleague and defaming her by uploading her images on social media on Monday, 29 October.
Rachakonda police said that Sonal Chauhan, who earlier worked in a prominent mobile phone service provider as HR Manager, befriended a female colleague, who joined the same company in 2015.

6. Girl’s Body Found with Tonsured Head, Chopped Limbs in Jharkhand
The body of a four-year-old tribal girl was found with her head tonsured, hands and one leg chopped in Jharkhand’s Khunti district on Sunday, 28 October, triggering panic among villagers.
Villagers found the girl, Anjali Kumari’s body in the bushes, around 200 metres from her home at Jamtoli village in Sandari panchayat of Torpa block, after they sensed a foul smell on Sunday morning.

7. Petrol Pump Cashier in Lucknow Shot Dead, Rs 10 Lakh Looted
A petrol pump cashier on his way to an adjacent bank in Lucknow’s posh Gomti Nagar was Monday, 29 October, shot by two bike-borne assailants who fled with Rs 10 lakh he was carrying, police said.
The cashier was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
“The cashier, Shyam Singh was going to deposit the money into the bank located adjacent to the petrol pump when the incident occurred. Our teams have started investigation into the matter,” senior superintendent of police Kalanidhi Naithani.

8. Gujarat Woman Cop Killed by Husband, In-Laws for Property
A woman police officer was allegedly hacked to death in Gujarat by her husband and in-laws who were eyeing her property, police said Monday, 29 October.
The incident took place Sunday, 28 October night at Junagadh town, around 315km from here, they said.
The body of Kiran Joshi (41), who was serving as an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) at the Visavadar police station in Junagadh district, was found in a pool of blood at her residence in the Madhuram area Monday morning, they said.

9. Gurugram Man Pushes Wife Off Eighth Floor Balcony
A senior executive of a private firm was arrested for allegedly murdering his wife by pushing her off the balcony of their eighth floor flat in Ansal Valley View Society on the Gurugram-Faridabad Road, police said on Monday, 29 October.
Vikram Chauhan was booked on Sunday for allegedly murdering his wife, Deepika, 32, on Saturday, 27 October night.
