The Indian Air Force on Friday, 8 March, tweeted a Hindi poem from its official Twitter handle on the recent Balakot airstrikes, in what appears to be a dig at Pakistan.

The poem suggests that the Air Force’s Mirage 2000 fighter jets were ‘forced’ to cross over into Pakistan as Islamabad had ‘crossed its limits’ by attacking CRPF personnel in Pulwama.

The poem, penned by Bipin Allahabadi, also gave a stern warning to Pakistan to mend its ways, as per ANI.

It hints at the aerial strikes conducted by the Air Force on 26 February in Balakot, PoK, with an aim to destroy Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camps.

"Ab neend kaise aayegi unko, thoda sa jhakjhor aaye hain unko (how will they sleep now, we have jolted them)," a line from the poem reads.

It goes on to say that the adversary has been ‘given a dose of truth and they cannot lie now’ and that ‘they’ would be living in fear of ‘fireworks’.

The Hindi poem comes at a time when Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has started tweeting in Hindi.
