Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali has announced that he is cancelling all his concerts in India including the one in the national capital.

Speaking with CNN-IBN, Ali said that he was cancelling his scheduled concerts in Delhi, Lucknow and other cities because he is “hurt that he was being used to score political points.”

He said he will not return till issues between the two countries settle down.

Initially, Ali’s concerts in Mumbai and Pune were cancelled after opposition by Shiv Sena workers.

Ghulam Ali has taken the right decision. I appreciate this decision. Other artists from Pakistan should also take the lead and decide not to come to India till their country starts behaving well with our soldiers. I appreciate he understands that Pakistan is killing our soldiers. They cannot be using India as an ATM. I have never seen him criticise what Pakistan has been doing,
