Three-time chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and one-time chief minister of Uttarakhand, ND Tiwari was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit of Delhi’s Max Hospital on Saturday, 7 July.

The cause for the hospitalisation is an infection in his kidneys and low blood pressure, reported news agency ANI.

The present chief minister of Uttarakhand Trivendra Rawat has called up Tiwari’s son to enquire about his health, reported The Times of India.
